WE BELIEVE THAT PLAYERS ARE PEOPLE FIRST AND ATHLETES SECOND.
LIKEWISE, CHILD ATHLETES ARE CHILDREN FIRST, ATHLETES SECOND.

Project CARE (Census of Athlete Rights Experiences) aims to ensure that the rights of child athletes are promoted and protected throughout world sport.
The project involves a 2-year (Jan 2019 - Dec 2020) pilot study of the childhood experiences in organised sport of professional athletes affiliated with the World Players Association.
The study will result in a set of recommendations to sport governing bodies, governments and player associations to make sport safer for child athletes through increased standards, transparency and accountability.

PROJECT CARE IS PART OF THE VISION OF THE WORLD
PLAYERS ASSOCIATION TO CHAMPGNION THE DIGNITY
OF THE PLAYER AND THE HUMANITY OF THE SPORT.
PLAYERS ASSOCIATION TO CHAMPGNION THE DIGNITY
OF THE PLAYER AND THE HUMANITY OF THE SPORT.
IN THE PURSUIT OF THIS VISION WORLD PLAYERS HAS A THREE-PART GOAL:
FIRST
the human rights of everyone involved in the delivery of sport must be protected, respected and, where needed, upheld.
SECOND
the same must be true for the players.
THIRD
the impact of sport must be positive, including in sporting, economic, environmental and cultural terms.
Project CARE (Census of Athlete Rights Experiences) is the first global study to look at athlete's experiences in sport to understand whether and how these rights were protected.
ARE YOU A PROFESSIONAL
ATHLETE AND PART OF YOUR
PLAYER ASSOCIATION OR UNION?
NO MATTER WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE WAS — WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU.
The survey is anonymous. We know this might not be an easy subject for you but know that it will be worth it. Your answers will form the recommendations that will change sports for the better. So that future generations of athletes do not have to face the same challenges. Play your part in making sport safer for children.
We understand some questions might be distressing for some participants and could bring up emotional issues or memories. If you feel you need emotional support, please contact your Player Development Manager or refer to the support services available free of charge in different localities around the world below.
